- Initial Design Consultation
Visit the RIKB showroom and meet with one of our professional designers. Discuss your project and, if you’d like, schedule an in-home meeting. We will take time to listen and learn about your visions, lifestyle and needs for your new kitchen or bath space. We will measure and photograph existing conditions, and suggest concepts and ideas that may be considered during the estimate phase. We’ll also ask about your budget expectations.
- Design Concepts & Estimates
We will meet in our Showroom to show you design concepts and present an estimated investment range. The estimate and scope of work may be adjusted as needed to match your needs. Our goal is to find the best solutions for your design requests and financial requirements. This is also a good time to inquire about our flexible financing options.
- Project Development Agreement
Once you have agreed upon design concepts and estimate, we present our Project Development Agreement for your review and approval. This low-cost (typically 5% of the estimate), simple agreement enables you to delve further into the design and product selection phase of your project. The total amount is applied toward the Installation Agreement.
- Product Selection and Design Details
Your designer will transform the design concepts into accurate, detailed plans, and guide you through the myriad of product choices and styles to truly customize your project. Consultation is provided both in your home and at our Showroom where you can explore everything from fine cabinetry, countertops and plumbing fixtures to ceramic and natural stone tile, flooring, lighting and accessories. Final pricing is calculated based on your finished design and product selections. A complete set of construction documents including detailed drawings and specifications are developed during this step.
- Installation Agreement
Your approved plans and specifications become our Installation Agreement and include a fixed total price. This is our promise that the project cost will not increase once the work begins.
- Your Dream Becomes Reality
A Pre-Construction Meeting is scheduled to introduce you to our professional installation team. Every detail of your plans will be reviewed with you and your designer in person before any of the work begins. All material is ordered, received and inspected at our facility prior to start of work to prevent delays once the work begins. A written schedule is provided and a Pre-Completion Meeting ensures your project is completed to your satisfaction.
