Chef Dave Jackson from Rick's Roadhouse in Providence will lead a BBQ cooking demonstration, preparing dry rubbed baby back ribs with peach BBQ to sample.

Chef Bertha & her family from 'Becoming Italian Today' hosted a great afternoon at our Showroom. The two demonstrations included Risotto con Gambero and Risotto Primavera as well as Pastiera... all the dishes were delicious! Thank you!

WOW ! Thanks to the Thomas family and all who joined us for an afternoon with Italian specialties chef Bertha Thomas. Bertha and her daughter Kelly are the founders of 'Becoming Italian Today' A unique enterprise that specializes in all things Italian.
The afternoon began at noon with a free demonstration featuring their family recipes for easy Holiday Antipasti. The lightly breaded asparagus wrapped in proscuitto and the holiday bruschetta were both easy and delicious !
People's Liquor Warehouse provided the wine pairing with a Frescobaldi Nippanzano Chianti Rufina Reserva and the Attemis Pinot Grigio Collio DOC.
A special private Cooking Class was held at 3pm. Chef Thomas shared her family's authentic homemade ginocchi di zucca recipe. She also demonstrated her Pere Ubriache (a wonderful Bosc pear poached in a Lambrusco mixture and served with a Gorgonzola cream)
A Mionetto Il Muscato was paired with the dessert. "Fantastico"!

Cooking Demonstration and Wine pairing Featuring Chef Paul Wade of The Pietra Restaurant

The only thing better than an afternoon with executive Chef Paul Wade at the RIKB demonstration kitchen is an afternoon in one of his restaurants at the Stone House ! Paul is the executive chef at the Pietra Restaurant and the 1854 Restaurant both at the newly renovated Stone House in Little Compton.
Pietra (open seasonally) features innovative interpretations of Tuscan culinary traditions blended with the local seafood and farm offerings of Little Compton. The 1854 is open year round. Executive Chef Paul Wade, former chef de cuisine at The Four Seasons Wailea in Hawaii and Little Nell in Colorado.
Chef Wade shared his 'Italian style sushi' and prepared a seared Ahi Tuna dish using a not so common kitchen tool otherwise found on our plumber's truck: A blow torch ! The Tuna was served sushi style with an Italian flair.

Chef Kevin Gaudreau, a multi-award winning chef lived up to his reputation and provided a seasonal culinary experience demonstrating his pumpkin risotto. Originally from Jamestown, he is well known as one of the area's top chefs. The risotto dish will be available as a special item at his newest venture 'Ardeo' a new restaurant he recently opened in Waterplace park.
In additionl to Chef Kevin, Marc 'the wine guy' Guillotte from People's Liquor Warehouse was on hand to pair a delicious Pinot Noir and a Saranac Pumpkin Ale with the risotto. Thanks to Chef Kevin and Marc, and to all who came by to meet them, it was an enjoyable afternoon.

On Saturday September 26th, RIKB’s Showroom was transformed into a Bavarian festival complete with delicious German fare, authentic wine and beer sampling and live accordion music. Chef Joe and the folks from Redlefsen's Rotisserie & Grill provided an exciting afternoon of Oktoberfest festivities.
In addition, Fox Rhode Show host Shawn Tempesta was here along with his camera crew as they filmed the cooking segment for an upcoming Rhode Show.
The crowd had an opportunity to join in the fun and be a part of our next Rhode Show TV appearance too !

| Crowbar Regatta - RIKB Sponsors Fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity |

R.I. Kitchen & Bath is the proud sponsor of the annual
'Crowbar Regatta' a Sailing Regatta in Newport, RI
to benefit Habitat for Humanity.
This summer's regatta was held off Newport
on Saturday August 8th.
Twelve J-22's from the Sail Newport Sailing Center competed
for the 'Crowbar' Trophy.
The post race festivities featured live music by 'Full Circle', food, drink, and the regatta award ceremony were held at the Ft. Adams Sail Newport Tent.
Thanks to all who participated and made donations we were able to raise over $1,800.00 for Habitat for Humanity this year !

RIK&B is TWENTY !
RIKB celebrated it's 20th Anniversary Saturday, May 16th at the Showroom on Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick.
The festivities included free workshops on kitchen and bath design trends. Guests enjoyed a wine and cheese tasting with Cabot cheeses and wine expert Marc Gulliotte from People's Liquor Warehouse. The interactive Showroom kitchen featured visiting chefs from Flemings Steakhouse, Sophia's Tuscan Grille and L'attitudes Modern Eatery. Chef Chris Palios from Sophia's also shared his expert BBQ techniques in the stainless steel Danver outdoor kitchen.
Gourmet Chocolatier Laurent Vals demonstrated how he creates his hand-crafted chocolates and Gregg's Restaurant provided the anniversary cake and offered cake decorating workshops.
There were Door Prizes, Giveaways and more!!

This special evening for one of our valued clients and two guests of their choice featured a personal chef-prepared three-course meal paired with three different wines, much to their gastronomic delight!

Kitchen & Bath, an award-winning design and remodeling firm specializing in kitchen, bath and interior renovations, has relocated its company headquarters from West Warwick, RI to a brand new, 10,000 sq. ft. facility at 139 Jefferson Boulevard in Warwick. Grand Opening festivities planned for Saturday, May 17, 2008.
