Community Service

At RIKB, corporate social responsibility is part of our DNA. From our employees, to partners, to clients and potential clients, we encourage everyone to give back. Whether through their time, contributions, or donating used building materials, here are a few of the organizations we support.

potter league

Potter League for Animals

The Potter League for Animals is Rhode Island’s go-to animal care and resource center, where we provide shelter, veterinary care, behavior training, spay & neuter, owner assistance programs, humane education, and the opportunity for thousands of animals to find loving homes each year.

With help from local donors, shoppers and volunteers, proceeds from ReStore sales are used to build homes in South County and around the world!

EcoBuilding Bargains

EcoBuilding Bargains is the largest used building materials store in New England offering deals on re-used and surplus materials, including cabinets, architectural salvage, lumber, doors, windows, tile, appliances, lighting fixtures, and furniture. Their mission is to help New England home owners stay green by keeping thousands of tons of useful materials out of landfills. ri-community-food-bank

Rhode Island Community Food Bank

Since 1982, the Rhode Island Community Food Bank has been distributing millions of pounds of food to those in need of assistance through our network of member agencies across the state. We love sup-porting this organization and assisting our neighbors across Rhode Island. At all of the seminars we host throughout the year, accept food donations from attendees and are proud to provide monetary do-nations on behalf our of clients throughout the year.

Toys for Tots

The U. S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program collects new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community. We agree that every child deserves a little Christmas. That’s why, year after year, our design center is always on the list of drop off locations.
